Meet "Whimper!"

I thought that our family pet (and first "baby") would make for an interesting and fun original blog post. Whimper became a member of our family in February 2012. My husband got her for me just before he left for basic training. Whimper is a female Cairn Terrier ("ToTo" from the Wizard of Oz was a Cairn). The name "Whimper" came about due to her constant crying she voiced as a puppy. She hates being left alone, getting a bath, and riding in the car! Her puppy years were eventful to say the least. She chewed up everything she could get her paws on (shoes, toilet paper, etc.), and she was a master escape artist. There was an unauthorized and unsupervised doggie trip to Wendy's that I would love to tell you about another time!

Whimper is a wonderful big sister to MaryCatherine. They love to play together.

Whimper loves people, making new friends, and is an excellent "watch dog." She loves to chase birds and play fetch. We love our four-legged baby!
