“How Well Are You Listening?” Quiz
My score pleasantly surprised me. I scored a 46 out of 60, so I am classified as “well on my way” and I should focus on areas that need improvement. I feel that I hesitated from answering the number four for many of the questions, because I do not feel that I “always” carry out the listening actions or skills identified in the quiz. I answered fours on questions ten and thirteen. I believe eye contact is one of the most important listening components, and I never want to appear disinterested in a speaker, regardless if I am in a one-on-one or group setting. This quiz was very informative as to what areas of listening I need to focus and improve on.
